Collins LLC Celebrates 72 Founders Scholars

LLC Director Padraic Kenney awards senior Tristan Britt with a gnome pin Shannon Hocker

At a ceremony and reception on Sunday, April 7, 2019, Collins Living-Learning Center Director Padraic Kenney congratulated the 72 students at Collins LLC named Founders Scholars this year.

IU awards the most academically distinguished undergraduates the designation of Founders Scholar and honors them at an annual event, the IU Bloomington Honors Convocation. To be designated a Founders Scholar, an undergraduate degree-seeking student must have earned a cumulative grade point average of 3.8 or above by the end of the fall term immediately preceding the Honors Convocation.

Collins LLC holds a reception for students, their families, and their peers on the same day as the IU Bloomington Honors Convocation to recognize our Founders Scholars and celebrate the strong tradition of academics at the living-learning center.
