On the first Thursday of December, Collins residents enjoy the festive Dickens Dinner, which dates back to 1978 and includes a special menu prepared by IU Dining. It’s a long-standing tradition for our students to bring their favorite professors to the dinner, and some even decide to dress up as a characters from the novels of Charles Dickens. Fun and festive dress adds to the elegance of the occasion, so students attend in fancy attire.
