Academics is a top priority at Collins and our residence hall often lands near the top in campus-wide rankings. Our students shape the academic environment through the student-led Board of Educational Programming (BOEP). This student group selects our Collins seminars, hosts fireside chats and professor dinners, and reviews student proposals for teaching short courses to fellow residents.
Collins offers a variety of engaging courses, including peer-taught Q-courses; seminars carrying CASE breadth of inquiry credit and Options courses focused on the environment, well-being, service, and the arts. Edited and designed by students, The Pipe and the Barrow is a journal that provides Collinsites with opportunities to showcase their academic accomplishments.
