Join BOEP for the opportunity to meet Lizzie Grennan Browning, the new Associate Director for the Integrated Program in the Environment and Co-Director of Sustain Collins. This will be a wonderful oppertunity to meet Lizzie and learn about her (really cool) research interests.
With training as a US Historian with a Ph.D. in history from the University of California, Davis, Lizzie studies how people in the Midwest have thought about and engaged with environmental issues since the nation’s founding. She is interested in understanding how attitudes about the environment have formed and changed among different groups, and how evolving ideas about social justice have influenced these opinions.
