Sports and Recreation is not so much a club as it is an initiative on the part of the Collins Student Government to provide students with even more ways to get involved around campus.

The Director of Sports and Recreation is responsible for coordinating the Collins intermural teams and planning sporting events. Whether it’s basketball, soccer, ultimate Frisbee, or Battleship (played at the swimming pool in canoes) there is probably an intermural team for you! Teams are generally co-ed and compete with other teams from all over campus.

The Director of Sports and Recreation is responsible for planning and executing events related to the great outdoors. Events include camping trips, hiking excursions, rock climbing, and horseback riding. The director also educates residents about outdoor safety, camping techniques, and outdoor cooking.
