Together with Tanjimul, Teresa directs the Sustain Collins program at Collins, an action and education-oriented living-learning program dedicated to sustainability and the environment. Teresa helps students who are passionate about the environment gain professional skills, dive deep into environmental topics, and incorporate sustainability into their everyday lives.
As Associate Director of the Integrated Program in the Environment, Teresa also manages environment and sustainability-focused programming engaging prospective and current students, with a focus on cross-disciplinary collaboration and civic engagement. In her work, she also engages faculty, staff, and the larger Indiana community in diverse environmental education initiatives. Prior to joining IPE, Teresa supported urban conservation research and programming with the Bloomington Urban Forestry Research Group, The Nature Conservancy, and the Bloomington Community Orchard. She has an undergraduate degree in environmental science, a Master of Public Affairs, and a Master of Environmental Science, all from Indiana University. Outside of work you'll find her renovating an 1860's farmhouse with her partner, hiking with her dog Holland, or cooking new recipes.
